The crew have made great progress during their first week, covering over 140 miles from Christchurch to Rye Harbour.
We've been keeping an eye on the tracking system, which provides lots of trip data apart from just the location. Movements are logged every minute along with speed, heading & temperature, plus the rather boring but important stuff like power supply & battery levels.
Having both the boat & the vehicle handset visible on the system map & mobile handsets also gives the crew & driver a sporting chance of finding each other at the end of the day (whichever hostelry they're in)
