One of the limitations of GPS trackers is that the GPS signal often does not penetrate buildings. Now you can monitor your valuable assets inside the warehouse using Wi-Fi location. This feature monitors the signal strength of nearby fixed Wi-Fi routers using a Google Geolocation API, then triangulates the device's position, typically to within +/- 30 metres. The device then sends its co-ordinates via the cellular network. As Wi-Fi location uses less power than a GPS fix, this also helps to preserve battery life.
Our new products feature Wi-Fi location either as an alternative to GPS, or in combination with GPS+ W-Fi to track outside & inside buildings.
